We are small animal vets, we do many of the things regular vets do, but pride ourselves on doing things a little differently...
We are a tight knit, happy crew and that makes being part of a team so much more enjoyable and gives the best results. We all work together to give you the best for your pet. We have five very experienced vets ,who are also pet owners, at your service to provide quality care and wealth of advice.
Consultations
Continuity of care - we will endevour to book you in with the same vet for appointments where possible.
If you want to see a particular vet, just ask.
Imaging
We have the technology - with digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy we can look at your pet in lots of different ways to see what is going on.
Surgery
Our experienced vets are able to do all routine and most complex surgeries. We can also arrange visit from a specialist surgeon if needed.
On Site Laboratory
On site laboratory facilities mean tests can be done cheaper and quicker, with some results in just minutes.
Dentistry
Some vets hate it, some are nervous of it, some vets have outside specialists do it for them. For us, it is the one of the most common problems with pets and an under appreciated source of pain for them we want to help fix.
Preventative Care
We help you prevent issues with your pets so we can make a huge difference to their lives. From advice on vaccinations and flea control, through to keeping teeth clean. We offer Care Plans to help spread the cost of routine treatments and save you money.
Export Certificates
Travelling abroad?
We have UK government recognised Official Veterinarians, so if you are planning a week or two across the channel, moving across the pond, relocating to Dubai or emigrating to Oz - we can help make it happen.
Poultry
We are one of the few vets for miles around that care for pet poultry.
Don't be surprised if you see one in the waiting room. Chickens, geese and ducks are all 'frequent flyers' to Hunters Lodge!
Home Visits
Not all pets like travelling to the vet. Some just want to avoid the stress, some are too old and wobbly.

End of Life Care
As owners we know how great it is to have a pet. Sadly we also have to navigate the difficult thought of losing them. We are often called on by owners to help assess the quality of life for their pet and advise on palliative care to keep them comfortable.
