End of Life Care
It is always difficult when your pet's health is deteriorating and can be distressing for them and you. We want to help you do all we can you maintain a comfortable, happy life for them for as long as possible. This is called palliative care and is important to help maintain stress and pain-free life for animals. There is often a lot that can be done to help improve pet's quality of life to enable them to enjoy their time with you for longer.
Sadly though, sometimes a good enough quality of life is no longer possible, even with the best of intentions. Our job is to help you navigate this difficult time and help you through the right choices for you and your pet. If you are concerned about how your pet is doing have a look at our:
We can work with you to improve your pet's life where possible or help you reluctantly navigate a fond farewell if needed. This can be done in the practice but we often do home visits so owners can say goodbye to their pet in their own home. We understand how important this can be and will make time for it wherever possible.
